Sasha - airdrawndagger

airdrawndagger was the first, eagerly waited, full length album from hotly tipped DJ Sasha, and I didn’t know anything about it at the time. Passed right by me. In fact, for all I know, everything that I have just written may be complete bollocks. Wouldn’t be the first time. So let’s let the music speak for itself shall we, without all the blurb? It’s quite brilliant. There, got that out of the way. It’s just so cool and chilled out. It’s the musical equivalent of a summer breeze. It just makes you sigh and melt slightly. Once you’re done with that you can dance to it too, but personally I’d rather just lie around in an ecstatic little puddle. Some tracks are better than others but none of them are bad which is lucky as each one flows near seamlessly into the other meaning that if you had to skip a track you would spoil the experience somewhat. As it stands though it’s just about the perfect album (as IZ-US by Aphex Twin isn’t an album, but it is still the best chill out song ever) to chill out to on a summer’s afternoon or after a late night out. Take your pick.
