Skatanic - the demo
The first CD from upcoming 4 piece ska-punk band from
Teignmouth. Their influences include [Spunge], Graveltrap, Farse, and this shows from the first minute of opener
'Its over'. Im really not a fan of [Spunge] but this has character to it. The second
track 'Fuck the Adults' is the standout, a six minute chilled out "proper" ska song, with the included cheesy ska breakdown.
'Summer Holidays' is the worst of the tracks, unfortunately forgettable. All in all the songs are well structured and very summery, a promising
sound...
